My favorite thing to do in Lancaster County? Simple…get ice cream. One of my favorite places to visit in Lancaster County is Lapp Valley Farm in New Holland, PA. They sell 18 flavors of ice cream, milkshakes, milk, chocolate milk, cheese, eggs, and butter at their store. They are tucked away on peaceful back roads surrounded my farmland. It is unlike any other ice cream I have had before. It is homemade, thick, creamy, and melts in your mouth. Pair it with a homemade waffle cone, and you have the best summer night treat! For returning guests to Lancaster County, a stop to Lapp Valley is a must. Barn animals walk around and greet you while you make your way around the farm. Guests to the farm can view the Jersey cows being milked and pet the calves. For those who discover their fresh goodness and delicious tastes, Lapp Valley Farm quickly becomes a favorite stop. For locals, it becomes a routine shopping spot for milk and butter with their easy drive through window. It is the perfect location for a reasonably priced family outing. During the warmer months, guests can visit Lapp Valley ice cream at Kitchen Kettle Village and Green Dragon. Enjoy!
