Kitchen Kettle Christmas

Kitchen Kettle Christmas

It’s December 23rd and another Kitchen Kettle Christmas in Lancaster County is about to go into the history books. If you missed us this year, it was your loss. The weather was warm, the reindeer was here, Santa, Mrs. Claus and the elves led over a hundred children through The Night Before Christmas or singing

Yummie & Frosty

around the Village after Breakfast with Santa and Yummie. And live choirs, brass quartets and bell choirs were ringing in the season.

If Christmas shopping is what you were looking to find, thousands of people will be getting delicious jams and relishes to serve for Christmas dinner or eat on their toast at breakfast. Lots of Pandora and Brighton jewelry will sparkle under special trees. Even UGG boots are waiting to be opened. Special music boxes from Grande Place will be playing Christmas morning.

There are still two more days – we’re open til 4:00 on Christmas Eve. And then Saturday morning we start all over again. Lancaster County always has plenty to offer for those times that you’ve taken off work to relax and enjoy some down time. The Inn still has a room or two left for next week. And it’s been warm enough all month that you can still take a buggy ride!

If all of this sounds like a good old-fashioned Christmas, that’s exactly what we have in mind here at Kitchen Kettle. Put us on your calendar for next year – whether that’s next Christmas or next month. We’re much quieter in January but a few of us like it that way. The crowds are smaller, the tasting is just as good, the smiles are just as wide and you can take It in at your own pace.

See you soon!
