Fall is not all about pumpkin spice, like everyone makes it out to be. I mean yes, who doesn’t love starting their morning out at the Roasted Rooster with a Pumpkin Spice Macchiato? Or having a slice of pumpkin roll or pumpkin pie for dessert? But fall has so much more to offer than pumpkin foods.
If fall isn’t your favorite season, you must not have been to Lancaster, PA when the leaves are changing in October. It is the best when the mornings are crisp and cool and the afternoon sun beats in the window and feels like it’s warming your soul. I can’t describe fall in Lancaster any other way than, comforting. Each morning, I’m reminded of how beautiful life is during my drive through back-country roads. It truly is humbling.
At Kitchen Kettle Village, the sights are just a great. Check out some of the photos I have snapped from all around the village these past few weeks. If you have been here in fall you can attest to the home feel of the corn fodder, pumpkins, and colorful leaves.
